Today I received a super exciting email:

"We're laying out the September issue of Looklateral and we are including your story".

So stocked. I've been in touch with these folks since June of last year, and finally they've decided to publish my story in their upcoming September issue! The featured piece is about the international Atelier GRAPHICSTUDIO in Tampa,Fl. It will touch upon the history of this prestigious institution as well as a brief profile of the head printers and the Curator of Latin American and Caribbean Art / Curator of Education at GRAPHICSTUDIO.

A little background about the magazine:

Look Lateral is an Anglo-Italian bilingual art magazine...

"whose aim is to inform art enthusiasts and specialists, involve those who are simply curious, create opportunities, promote ideas, highlight talent, and broaden horizons."

Look Lateral is an Anglo-Italian bilingual art magazine...

It is meant to be a collector's piece, one that not only has interesting stories but that also strikes the eye with stunning layouts and intriguing design choices. Their editorial theme evolves around the 24-hour clock, suggesting things to do during a (long) day. Their first issue, for instance, starts at 7am in Milwaukee Art Museum and travels to the day in Brighton, New York, Tel Aviv, Berlin, etc., ending in Tanzania at midnight.

You can purchase/subscribe to the magazine through their website. The third issue is coming out sometime in early September 2014.
